The Lathums are back with their first release since the incredibly popular sophomore album, ‘From Nothing to a Little Bit More’.
Thoughts of a Child is a perfect throwback to the first few songs the Wigan band had ever released, but yet still have the clear evolution of lead singer Alex Moore’s vocals.
The jangley Rickenbacker guitar of Scott Concepcion is also evident throughout the entire track weaving the song from verse to verse flawlessly.
The song is linear, which in any means isn’t a bad thing. The song starts with Alex on his own and ends in similar fashion.
The band have embarked on many tours since the release of their last album, having just come off of a run of 31 European shows with Louis Tomlinson, I don’t see this band slowing down anytime soon.
