Two Door Cinema Club are back with a new single Sure Enough, after their rather unfortunate, lacklustre response to the band’s latest album Keep On Smiling.
The new single displays itself around this synth-type beep and its repetitive lyrics and predictable rhythm.
Throughout the track, nothing seems to standout apart from the odd slide guitar about half way through the song. Sure Enough shows potential for future Two Door Cinema Club releases, but hasn’t really evolved since Keep On Smiling which actually impressed me upon release.
I’m sure the live performance of the new track will change my mind, however crowds haven’t really responded well to the newer material. I’m hoping the future of Two Door Cinema Club surprises me with their eventual launch of the new album and revitalises what the band had created with their older releases.
