After DMAs fourth Album release earlier this year, I’m excited to see them stop off at Liverpool tonight. They’ve sold out Mountford Hall so I already know it’s going to be a spirited show.
Supporting DMAs tonight is Liverpool favourite Stone. They’re playing to a packed out room for their hometown show on this tour. It’s not my first time seeing this band live and they never disappoint with a lively set every time. Recent tune from the four- piece ’Left Right Forward’ got the crowd moving building up the energy.
Lead singer Fin power bounced across the stage keeping everyone’s attention the whole time. Everyone went wild for Stone Classic ‘Leave It Out’ and was a fitting end to their support tonight.
I’ve not seen this room so packed and they were all itching for the band to start. DMAs took to the stage as the room filled with endless cheers. The opening riff of their first song ‘Olympia’ created an unbelievable excitement in the room. Hands reached to the air while they shouted back every lyric. After this passionate start, Liverpool were in for a special evening.
They continued the night with a mix of fan favourites classics and some of their most recent bangers. They kept the room full of life, guitarist Johnny Took ran up and down the stage, leaning into the crowd and matching their energy. ‘Feels Like 37’ seemed like a fan favourite as the energy was only amplified.
DMAs filled the room with an unmatched atmosphere, Liverpool was witness to a momentous show tonight. The crowd walked away tonight as electric as the band seemed to be.
